Oppo launched a new device called Oppo A96 in India, which features a 6.59-inch full-HD+ display powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 SoC, along with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM. The device runs on Android 11 with ColorOS 11.1 on top. It carries a dual rear camera setup that houses a 50 MP primary sensor and a 2 MP secondary sensor.

Finally, Today Oppo started pushing their new major OS update, ColorOS 12, for the Oppo A96 based on Android 12. The update is now started rolling around the globe. As per some reports, it is said to be rolling with build number  C.07 for users globally and will soon reach other users around the globe. With this, Oppo has included the latest June 2022 Security patch, which fixes many security bugs and vulnerabilities.

Steps to Install Android 12 on Oppo A96

Before we get straight to the steps to flash the ColorOS 12 update based on Android 12 on your Oppo A96, let us look at the prerequisites first.

  • The stock firmware provided here is for Oppo A96. Do not flash it on any other phone.
