It seems users are not satisfied with Mi A1 from Xiaomi. Users are not satisfied with the fact that beings an Android one device it gets security updates very late and there is no Android 8.1 Oreo as of now. Whereas most of the devices from other popular OEMs are receiving their share of system updates. Speaking of security patch Xiaomi did roll an update earlier this month, but it turns buggy. This update leads to slow charging of the battery and battery charge loss to a significant amount in some cases. So, currently, Xiaomi is rolling another update, a hotfix to patch the bugs. This update bumps the build number OPR1.170623.026.9.5.13 into Mi A1.

This update is rolling over-the-air(OTA) and weighs 58 MB. Now you may wait for the update to reach you over the air or you may manually flash the firmware too. Below you can find the TWRP flashable firmware and fastboot ROM for Mi A1 that brings OPR1.170623.026.9.5.13.
